Reimagining the Dream:

Equity, Inclusion and Economic Sustainability

Join business leaders, educators, members of the faith community and non-profit organizations in an exploration of ways to increase diversity and equity to promote a community with opportunity for all.

Studies of for-profit companies done by Catalyst, Credit Suisse, Center for Talent Innovation, and McKinsey demonstrate that diversity in the for-profit world can increase financial performance, boost an organization’s reputation, help it attract talent, and promote stability and innovation.  The same is true in the nonprofit world; greater diversity helps expand the pool of donors willing to support charities, improves the quality of strategic thinking at organizations, and makes them more responsive to the needs of clients and better able to attract the most talented workers.

Stedman Graham, a nationally-recognized expert and author on diversity will give the keynote address, followed by a moderated panel discussion with local corporate and community leaders on how to achieve workforce diversity.

This event kicks off a year-long series to facilitate a thoughtful dialogue around steps to implement change.
